University Scout runs a background job that gathers program details from the web: application links, deadlines, test requirements and funding. It fills empty fields automatically and asks you before changing anything you already entered.
Is my data safe from being overwritten?
Yes. When AI results conflict with values you typed, nothing is overwritten silently. Conflicting fields wait for a per-field keep-or-override decision, so your work is always preserved.
Do I have to keep the tab open while AI runs?
No. Heavy jobs (CV parsing, profile evaluation, university extraction and analysis, deep research) run server-side and finish even if you close the tab or switch devices. The results are waiting when you come back.
